Save game was lost

I spent most of yesterday in 3d pokemon land and when I tried to play again today it said I needed to update to 0.34. I did and now it won't let me play my saved game. Is this supposed to happen? I'm starting a new game for now but if there's a way to recover my save please let me know. Thanks

What exactly is happening?
You updated, you tried to log in onto... Gamejolt or offline?

If offline, did you delete your save? (Accidently.)

If Gamejolt, do you have zero points?

It was offline and at the time I didn't have a gamejolt account. I just made one 10 minutes ago ;p

Then, if you want to play online, you'll have to restart like the rest of us.

This is to prevent hacked Pokémon from reaching the Gamejolt saves/GTS etc. It sucks but it'll be worth it. Eventually.
