if i edit the text file to evolve my kadabra and graveller, will it have any adverse effects on the pokemons stats?

because i've noticed evolved pokemon tend to gain more stats per level, and i'm curious as to whether those stats will be lost if i just change the pokedex number, or if i'll just gain more per level until it's at the normal amount (or something).

Their visible stats are completely based on their base stats and the IV/EV numbers. (abilities do nothing, not sure about nature though. I don't feel a difference)

So if you were to change the evo state of graveler in to a dragonite, the game will recalculate using dragonite's base state with gravelers iv/ev.
