A Manteen hit my Bayleef with a attack that did recoil damage to himself killing him and my Baleef on the same turn. The battle ended without my Bayleef fainting and he still got the experience points. After the battle my Bayleef was still not considered to be fainted and had 0 hp in the menu. The next battle my Bayleef was sent in with 0 hp still. I hit the enemy with a 1 hit KO then it finally told me my Bayleed has fainted. It then prompted me to enter another pokemon which then entered, the enemy fainted message played and gave the pokemon I sent in the exp.
