Best Training Area Currently?

So I've been training pokemon getting ready for the update. Most now around level 40. I've been training at Route 43 for sometime. Just outside lake of rage. Wondering if there is a better place for exp?

Try dark cave
the back portion has low to mid 20s pokemon

I've battled at unown ruins killing lv 40 unowns at the back room
when you beat the unown ruins
they give 687 xp per kill (1k per kill with other original trainer id's) (at difficulty 0 or starting difficulty)
been going out then in the room to rebattle it so I get to power up my team (did that for charazard) its lv 36 now

I train at route 42 at the moment. There are seaking and goldeen in the water there that are between 18-27 at difficulty 2. I also got a lot of experience battling quagsires in the water at the ruins of alph.

Just checked out Dark Cave. With Difficulty at Max, pokemon gave around 670xp! better than the 420 xp at route 42/43

If in the party you have poké of various level, water in Olivine City/Route 40 maybe be a good choice... Tentacools give 200 xp for weaker poké, but Tentacruels are between 28 and 40, they give (when rarely appear) from 600 xp to 1000 xp. However the best is Dark Cave, I totally agree with Darkfire

well if you beat ruins of alph,
you can kill the level unown in the backroom for 674 xp for your ot trainer-1k xp for other ot trainer id pokemon
unowns know only hidden power
the unowns are lv 40
you can walk out and back into the room for the unown to reappear
thats at the lowest difficulty lv
at the highest it should give more then 674 xp per unown
