Route 40 and Ship to Kanto

How do I get past the guy blocking one of the doors on RT 40? He asks what the building is but he won't move!!! Also is the ship to Kanto in this version? I can't figure this out, help! Sorry for the dumb questions

The reasons as to why we cannot go through these 2 places is pretty simple: they aren't implemented yet.
In the original games the guy in front of the door would be gone after defeating Jasmine I believe. Or the Gym before her. And the boat just goes on ... Mondays and Fridays? I don't remember exactly, but even that isn't implemented yet.
In the upcoming updates we'll probably be able to go through, but I think for now we're going to get a finished slowpoke well and Ruins of Alph, but I am not even sure about that.

Boat won't happen til you beat the E4
This update is a non-story-maps update tons of maps but little story
