Heres my problem. I have a Mareep with Thunder Wave, and a Butterfree with Sleep Powder. When I use Sleep Powder, no more Thunder Wave, and vice versa. I wanna SleepParaPoisoFreeze my enemies! pweese?

Not until they get their current status effects fixed. Supersonic still paralyzes and confusion at least for me never has once confused the target pokemon.

The game actually allow 3 status effects to be on the same target, Par/freeze/sleep etc, Attracted & confused

Yeah, but I assumed OP meant the 'major' effects (like sleep, poison, etc.) that don't disappear when you withdraw the pokemon, and that are mutually exclusive.

Against. This'd be OP in battles by a long shot. Not to mention it givesa greater feeling of satisfaction to finally catch that poke after having thrown x amounts of pokeballs, with red hp & sleep/paralyzed/poison on it (just one of them). Having 2 or more "major" status such as paralyze or poison would also likely need a reconfigure of the catching system (add rate by number of status) and if you could pile them on, it's concievable you could catch a lvl.50+ with a pokeball at full hp (within about 20 turns, compared normal stat likelyhood being like 2%). Basically, it'd be overpowered.

none of those are the status effects, the thread is about poison, sleep, frozen, burned, fainted, paralyzed. confusion etc is a status effect in the rpg sense too but those work on different rules, and yes, they're broken. sorry
