Offer option for trading

I thought of this while I was looking at the trade list and saw a Haunter being offered in exchange for a level 1 Teddiursa, I happened to have a level 2 Teddiursa on the pc so I tried passing it off and of course it didn't go through. What I am proposing is an aditional button for trading where you could offer up a pokemon and the owner could decide if he wanted it. The trade button we have now would still be used if you have an exact match to what is being requested.Think about it programming dudes.

I think this would be better off in the sugguestion forum thread. A mod will probably move it though, so d/w

So if we offer a pokemon that's close to what the trainer requests, they can decide if they want it or not? Sounds like a good idea :)

A lot of things can be added to the trade system. A way to communicate with other trainers, like mail should work for Cropilot's idea. Numbering the trades (1,2,3...) and maybe a date to show us when that trade has been added. Maybe a popup balloon with some info about the pokemon (nature, gender, skills)

Of course the mail could do it in a roundabout way, but an offer option would be more direct, without having to ask people to change their request which is a problem if they are not on-line, and I think it wouldn't be too much of a hastle to make (note that I have no programming experience so I am talking out of my ass about it being easy to implement)

Most of the things we suggested were added, so I want to say thanks and good job. I've been looking over the trades and there are quite a lot of fakes, even starters. I'd like to suggest a cleanup and support to that idea. People should use these fake pokes only for themselves and not try to trade them.

Do you think banning fake pokemon from normal trades, but creating a hax option somehow where fake pokemon are allowed would work?

I am thinking of no fake pokemons in the trade hub. My suggestion is more like someone checking the list 1-2 times a day and deleting the fakes. That way the people that put fakes will loose the pokemon and in time they will be discouraged to put new ones.

We have implemented a new system to protect the Pokemon.
It is not completely done yet but once it is done you will not be able to change your pokemon's stats etc.
It will allow any previously hacked pokemon to stay though.
