rebattling system 'Gym Leaders'

Hey guys. I have a question to all of you. Wouldn't it be awesome if you could just go back into previous gyms and battle the leader all over again? In heartgold and soulsilver they worked with phone numbers but in the hoenn region you could just open your pokenav and see which trainers/leaders wanted a rematch. I'd like to know your opinion about this issue so please comment.

First off i am disappoint, you are a gym leader and dont know how to fight yourself?! For shame! jkjk

anyways, i believe if the Pokegear is implemented there can be a suggestion for a 'application' for a Vs. Seeker and a phone which will essentially encompass the needs of all trainers!
