wait a second I am preparing a little tutorial :p

OK, when you download the .zip file from the thread, open it and unzip it to let's say your Desktop. You'll get two folders, Launcher and Pokemon (inside a folder called "OriQual[0.25][1.2]").
You can delete the "Launcher" folder, you won't need that.
Once you've done that, open up your Pokemon folder which is located where your launcher.exe file is (the file you run to start the game).
In the Pokemon folder, open the folder called "ContentPacks".
Go back to the download folder and open the folder called "Pokemon" -> "ContentPacks".
Copy the folder "OriQual" from the downloaded folder to your "ContentPacks" folder in your Pokemon folder.

The tutorial might be a bit confusing at first but read carefully and you'll get it to work.
alright well to start off with, my computer saved the folder in which the launcher for pokemon was onto my desktop automatically after extracting onto my desktop the 2 folders i believe the folder containing the OrilQual Content Pack automatically merged with the folder containing the launcher for pokemon i decided to go ahead and just click on the little tree icon within that folder and a screen pops up saying "Invalid start parameters!"
Did i do something wrong? o_O

yep. You started the Pokemon3D.exe, you have to start the Pokemon.exe outside your Pokémon folder.

the little tree icon (pokemon3D.exe) is now on my desktop (outside the pokemon folder) and the pop up screen still opens up saying "Invalid start parameters!"

Woops sorry :D
You have to place the Pokemon.exe in the same folder where your Contentpacks, Content, maps and Scripts folder is, and the Pokemon3D.exe where the Pokemon folder is.

So i just deleted the old files that i had for the pokemon game and i just took the pokemon3d.exe file and saved it to my desktop and redownloaded the game and then my new pokemon game files saved right next to the pokemon3d.exe file and the content packs automatically merged with the pokemon folder and now im able to play it :)
the content pack looks awesome! btw is that mod of Darkfire's for this pokemon3d game as well?

yes
it runs seperately and has a different launcher so you can download and unzip(however every new version will need to be downloaded spereately(do NOT update via the launcher))

and i just had an Idea for launching mods
this might have been said earlier but as far as I know it hasn't
the modder will make their Game and rename the Pokemon folder as the name of their mod
the launcher can then be told to load Silver's soul and will use 'Silver's Soul' instead of 'Pokemon' in all of the file searches
folder structure would be:
Pokemon3D folder contains:
Pokemon3D.exe
Pokemon folder containing content, maps, save, etc
Silver's Soul folder containing above
1YL folder containing above

modders can give the mod to you/daniel/whoever to link to the launcher

when starting the launcher there could be a drop down menu that as a default has 'Pokemon3D' and 'Download Mod' as options
the 'Download Mod' option will bring you to alist of the current available mods
when you click on one it will download the current version and then put it into the dropdown menu and if you select it the launcher will check it for an update and then allow you to launch it
the /Launcher/ folder should probably be moved out of the pokemon folder for this idea

yep :)
to make it not happen turn off the option to check for a new download(just thought of this and will have that set for all future downloads :/)
