dark cave

does anyone know how to get through dark cave next to route 31? i have been at it for while i've tried doing it with the wiki but im getting no where.

I don't know after what map this is designed (g/s/c) or (hg/ss) - in (g/s/c) you could only get past the first area if you have surfer:

in (HG/SS) it seems to be an exit only:

As far as I remember the map is similar to the (HG/SS) one, but I'm not sure...

thx the maps helped out a little but how do i get to the other side its the first one on top. i have no idea what im doing. maybe something like a walkthrough?

Well, most of this is probably still under development. So even if there was a way to get to another exit, you woudn't be able to get through.

the warps have not yet been put in
and usually most of the map wouldn't be available til after the 8th gym

You can't pass through the dark cave, there is an additional edge in the beginning of the cave
