sun/moon are we in trouble?

so recently there was footage of ridable pokemon on the new sun/moon and I know it is a thing here. nintendo is known of being shady and I can see an attempted copywrite claim from them and a following dmca. are we safe? I love this game and dont want it to go down

There are rideable pokemon in X & Y aswell, so I don't think the game will be in trouble for that reason alone.
