In the second fight with the rival, the rival sent out Gastly, I sent out Teddiursa. We both used the move Lick (ghost type move), and as should be, hers* "had no effect" because Teddiursa's a normal type. However, then she used Lick again. Later, a third time. I'm pretty sure the trainer AI is supposed to be better than this, but I could be wrong.
