Another modding request.
In pokemon stadium 2 there was a school area that had battles with pre-set pokemon against teams with pokemon set up so you had to figure out the correct strategy to beat it with what you had. I was thinking about how something like this could be done in pokemon 3d and figured that the pokmon storage system would be a good way to do it. A map like this could come with a save file that has the necessary pokemon in storage. Script blocks could then shuffle the pokemon that aren't needed out of the party and bring in the pokemon you need. Without the ability to do this via scripting you could have a PC at every place where you need the player to swap and just hope they follow your instructions, but it would be useful to be able to handle it automatically for the player, and force them to use a certain party.
I can't see it being really useful in the ported maps but this feature would be really cool to have some time.
Also, I'd love some control over the AI for trainers when that is in, a difficulty level at least would be cool. You could program the easy trainers to make a bunch of mistakes, medium makes mistakes sometimes, hard ones make no mistakes etc. This could help differentiate Youngster Joey from Gym Leader Claire by more than party, sprite and dialogue, important fights could just be harder than the ones out in the routes, and early fights would be nice and easy.
A way to have the trainer pop up and say something would be useful for the gym fights. It would be good to have the other trainer's character sprite on the field behind their pokemon (the high quality ones, not the overworld sprites)
