Not a bug Overgrow Totodile?

My Totodile appears to have the overgrow ability, not sure whether or not anyone else has got this problem or if I'm just unlucky.

I don't want to start again because the first one I picked was adamant but I would prefer it to have its proper ability...

Should I wait to see if its ability changes on evolution or start a new game?

The abilities aren't implemented in the game, so Overgrow is a placeholder for every Pokemon.

Because it is what No 1 on the pokedex has...
