Not a bug [0.53.2] Using Hypnosis on another Hoothoot actually works

Hi,

I noticed the summary of a Hoothoot says that it has the ability "Imsomnia: This pokémon can't fall asleep".
However while I battled another Hoothoot (lv3) with mine (lv5) and used Hypnosis on it, it actually worked and made him fall asleep.

What I expected to happen:
A message saying "It doesn't affect Hoothoot" or something like that.

What actually happened:
Hoothoot fell asleep and i killed it with 2 tackles.

Not all Hoothoot have the ability Insomnia, some Hoothoot have the ability Keen Eye.
Do you have any proof that the opposing Hoothoot that you put to sleep had the ability Insomnia?
Some Hoothoot even have the ability Tinted Lens, but it sounds like you are too early into the game to encounter those.
