If I am just walking around and I turn around to look at my Pokemon, everything is fine. But the more I turn my camera to the left he starts flashing until he just eventually disappears. However, this does not happen if I turn my camera right. I would post a screencap but it does not show with a screencap.

Yeah its just a collision problem when its trying to load your Pokemon sprite and the grass sprite in the same position, itll probably be fixed! :)

I am no dev. so don't quote me on what I say, but this "bug" existed since the earliest versions... I am not sure if it will be fixed (maybe there are more important things because this only happens when you align the grass and your Pokemon/any Entity). Jeremy said it already: It happens when 2 textures are rendered in the exact same location(with the same angle towards your view) the game doesn't prioritize one texture so it tries to use both/rapidly changes between them. That also happens in multiplayer with other Players; basically any Entity that is turned towards you can create that effect - like flowers.
