Friendship Question

Uh now that friendship has been implemented ANY ideas how high it needs ta be before my Pokemon likes me? So far when I talk to my Cyndaquil it seems to hate me T-T If I edit ( Raise ) the Friend values in my Party.dat will this help & how High should I/Do I need to go?

Well i know that Pokemon caught with a friendship ball will like you immediately. Looking at the party.dat file for the Pokemon caught with that type of ball, they have a friendship value of 200. So something like that i believe. Exactly how high you'd need to go depends on whether your trying to do something specific (like making a Pokemon evolve through friendship).

The following can be checked in goldenrod. Over 150 is when they like you.

"It looks really happy! It must love you a lot." 250-255
"I get the feeling that it really trusts you." 200-249
"It's friendly toward you. It looks sort of happy." 150-199
"It's quite cute."100-149
"You should treat it better. It's not used to you." 50-99
"It doesn't seem to like you at all. It looks mean." 0-49

Uhhh... Unless I missed something Goldenros is not yet active in the as V 0.23 hasn't been released yet

V 0.23 is being released today.
For the moment the only way to check is by going into your save, party or box file and checking what number is after friendship. As i said anything over 150 means they like you.
