Can we have a zoom-able mini map?

Yeah.... this could be the most underused feature but still I want a zoom-able mini map that can let me see more than just the small grid that seem not beneficial.

It would then solve the huge problem of generating a huge maze that you will lose your way out as the mini map didn't help much.
