Duplicate Switch pokemon

Describe the bug you experienced here.
In a battle against a trainer and I defeat his pokemon de game doesnt ask me if I want to switch pokemon
and when the first pokemon in party faints in battle the game doesnt ask which pokemon I want to use next, it just sends out the second pokemon in ma party please tell me how to fix this or what to do... in the -> ''Options -> battle -> battle style'' you can choose set or shift but when I change this nothing changes in battle please help me

This is a known bug that will be fixed eventually.
