Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.
Im about to go crazy if my dang togepi doesnt evolve in the next level
It's already level 43 and everytime i talk to it it always tell me's "togepi suddenly hugged you" "togepi walks behind you proudly" and all that other stuff so i know it's freindship level is really high and im getting pretty tired of training and getting little xp -____-
anyone know a good place to train it ?
and does anyone know when the haircut brothers in goldenrod city are open cause like legit i feel like its only once a week or something ? x___x
any advice/opinions/suggestions / etc ... are welcome

The way I evolved mine around lvl 26 was walking a lot. I hatched TONS of eggs, I then reach the hugging stage, lvld it 20 times and it evolved! It is very time consuming....
If you were to friendship evolve it only through lvling it would evolve around the lvl 50.

thats pretty much my strategy to i just put them in my party when im hatching eggs. Hurray for multitasking

From level one and only counting leveling, that would mean that it evolves at around 50 if you don't let it faint. Every 2 times it faints you need 1 more level.
If you only count steps.... Base 70 friendship 220-70 = 150
150 x 512 = 51200 + 25600 = 76800 steps.

Every 512 steps you take, the friendship of the Pokemon you have in the first slot (The one you see walking behind you.) goes up by 1.

OP doesn't seem like he was having fun leveling togepi in the first place.

Quite true, he did state it was an annoying proces to go through. However, he did want to do it in a legit manner since he asked us for advice about places he could train. Increasing the levels and thus gaining more friendship and eventually get it to evolve.
That's what a Pokemon game is all about. Training and taking care of your Pokemon despite the fact that they aren't even real. It's the experience that counts.

If he really sought advice on how to do it non-legit, he probably would've asked.
