The Most Annoying Gym Leader?

Now it's to the point where I expect them to heal (and they usually do) whenever a Pokemon is in the red. They usually only get one heal, so I take advantage of that. First I try to get a weaker Pokemon just into red so that they'll waste it on them, instead of the tough Pokemon at the end, or if I know they'll heal the next turn, I'll also heal.

I've found that they seem to have one reserved for almost every Pokemon and only use one per a Pokemon, but I could of course be mistaken.

Aside from Miltank, I've always had trouble with Juan/Wallace (depending on which version your playing) of the Sootopolis Gym. They usually know how to irritate me in every way possible before finishing me off.

I always struggle with Brawly from Dewford Town Gym. (The fighting type gym in Gen 2)
I don't really know why because it's not hard. I never beat him on my first attempt though.

For the Sootopolis gym, I always use a Gardevoir (the final evolution of Ralts). Not only can it learn thundershock via tm but it also can take out some of the poison/water types such as Tentacruel with physic attacks. I'm usually able to take out Brawly with it too. That Pokemon makes the game a lot easier.

In Emerald, Fortree City Gym was the most difficult for me when I was playing it first. That Winona and her Tropius...

I could get that thing down to low health, and then she would use a hyper potion and proceed to slaughter my Pokemons. I hated that Tropius.

2nd gen, the 3rd and 4th gym leaders are really hard. I always had to fight them many times. Now I tend to be able to beat them the 1st time, but not when I was younger.

Honestly, Whitney and her Miltank is my second. I always hated Claire the most. I always have a type advantage on all of her Pokemon, and all my Pokemon are of similar level, but she gives me the most trouble. And the after I've finally beaten her, the little blue haired *****won't even give me the badge.

But I always catch a Ralts in my gen III playthroughs. Having a Gardevior makes it so much easier.

i finally got a post to make in here! im playing ss and my pokemon were all underleveled by the time i got to morty and his lvl 25 gengar with shadow ball (which is like 60 or 80 power, and my dudes all had about 53-59 hp lol) that just 1 hit everything i had. i ended up having to battle all the trainers on the way to olivine and beat up wild pokemon for about half an hour before i had anything that could withstand it. but in the end it only bought me like 4 turns with my highest level pokemon, this is where the battle turned around... shadow ball ran out of PP. he didnt have anything serious left after that so my pidgeot sand attacked till he couldnt hypnosis anymore and proceeded to gust him to death over like 10 turns. once that was down it was all over. what a bastard of a fight lol.

wouldn't have been so bad if i wasn't leveling my pokemon evenly, so they're all leveling but theyre leveling slower than if i leveled just 1 of them and made them really overleveled for everything.

Out of all the Pokemon games who i the most annoying gym leader?

I think it is Whitney from the generation 2 games. That god damn Miltank and its Rollout!

I hated her and her god dam Miltank, that's why I got a ditto so I could use roolout on it. I found it worked.

- Wattson (Shock Wave my ass!)
- Norman (Slaking surpsingly is a pain)
- Koga (Poison all day, erry'day)
- Elessa (Pretty similiar to Wattson, except with Volt Switch)
If I had to choose one I'd say
-Clair (Kingdra. 'Nuff said.)
