awesome job

someone should make an HD sprite pack to go with this though, the people and pokemon seem out of place walking around lol

Okay critique time!(part 1)
1) Mt mortar:

2 things here:
a) The waterfall texture is too short it needs to be repeated again below it
b) the texture for the warp block is missing

I have 2 issues to point our here:
a) The grass edges to the water edges(will see more of that later)
b) The fact that the water is solid shading

5) the tree in the olivine cafe and the rocks in the cianwood gym are not enhanced

6) the strength rocks look too smooth and structured and kinda unnatural(cianwood gym is example)

Critique part 2:
10) parts of the goldenrod floor are grass where they should be sand(example with texture pack and without)

also the black box for the entrance is a bit off setting(this also happens in unioncave) maybe make it a circular hole?

13)caves in general vs dark cave:
while the overall pattern for dark cave isn't the best the coloring is more cave like
maybe combine the coloring with the patterns used in other caves(the blues and purples don't work at such high res)

The hanging signs don't quite work....maybe texture them a bit to make them seem a bit more natural? the solid color block isn't the best.

this green top to the door is a bit off
maybe just make the door fill the entire box?(this sorta thing happens else where with other combinations....(not everywhere) but this is the most glaring of them)

maybe put it on the glass texture?

over all suggestions/requests:
make the GUI HD(specifically the map)

put more texturing into some of the things like buildings or out side floors
the plants, objects, interiors, and many outside walls are really nice but you don't make as much use of the increase in quality in some places as you could

Overall amazing pack and I really want to see it improve :)

ill haveto agree with darkfires last statement
i love the texture enhancements more specificly the plants and objects, the textureing that bothers me the most is the textures on buildings though. try working on those, there are alot of nice ones but theres also alot of just very plain solid colored ones

another thing that really bothers me is that everyone who does the texture mods makes the PokeMart red/pink
when it should be blue, atleast the roof

and personally the brick textures on the gates and pokecenter dont look to appealing


pros:
apricorn tree textures ***** (i really loved this retexturing)
--(however the apricorns themselves have noticable white pixels around them)
plants
grass
trees
water (though could use reworked tiling)
many building textures
rocks
ground
most outside stuff and interior textures look amazing

cons:
pokecenter / gate 's brick texture (doesnt really seem to fit)
pokemart is red/pink (should be blue)
some buildings seem to plain or solid compared to others (the ones that are not look really good)
ho-oh temple to plain (i like what the OriQual pack did to it, try getting some
--ideas from that and rework it as your own)
all the broken textures (etc.) that darkfire mentioned


otherwise amazing job, keep up the great work ^^

the pokecenter isn't his fault
it goes with the gen 1-2 thing with all pokecenter tops being the same
for the water:
that happens when I put the graphic setting on fast
the texture at position 0,128 in the routes texture should be a water texture as well

awh i see, guess i grew to know it as blue so i assumed it always was so since s/g/c

edit: also assuming u mean the pokemart

I did some general atempts at fixes(I am not the best at making these though and have little patience to boot so it is a bit sketchy:

I placed one of the sand textures you had in place of the goldenrod grass texture
here is what I got:

I think It looks better but of course you could probably choose a better one of your textures to go there?

For the water fall the issue is the texture is 64 pixels too high on the texture sheet
and once I fixed that(or atleast almost did I lowered it one pixel to far as you can see in the next picture)
i noticed that the edges don't mesh and the coloring doesn't mix with the normal water

Something more "falling" looking would be nice

finally I tried mixing the colors from the walls with the textures of the floors and replaced the blue rocks with the brown ones
here 's what I got(def would need work but you can get the idea :p)

it looks good but its missing the golden element the city is suppose to have

-the waterfall is looking better, perhaps a rushing water texture is needed instead though. and maybe some smoke/clouds at the bottom to make it seem more waterfally

The smoke clouds would be difficult to do b/c we didn't do anything that would accommodate it in the actual map file
